Message from Ms. Duncan: Lately, as a result of the news of the Coronavirus, we are noticing some disrespectful discriminatory behaviours targeting members of our Asian Community.   I want to take this opportunity to remind all students that there is no place for racism in our school.  Racism is discrimination directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior. Racism is hurtful.  Racism is harmful. In our school’s mission statement, it states that Rockridge strives to graduate responsible and global citizens in a respectful and diverse environment…”.  We have a wonderful diverse community here at Rockridge and every member should feel safe and included.  Please be aware that racism is unacceptable and be mindful of your words and actions.
