More than 100 volunteers welcomed some 600 visitors of all ages to the True North Canada 150 Street party on the grounds of Sentinel Secondary school Saturday, September 16th. Guests were treated to a range of free activities, including music and entertainment, a bouncy castle, food trucks, robotics displays, storytime, art and sports. The initiative was made possible by the Community Fund for Canada’s 150th birthday celebration, and was a collaboration between The West Vancouver Community Foundation, the Government of Canada, and extraordinary volunteers and leaders locally and across the country.
