The IB World School Program offered at West Vancouver Secondary School is an internationally recognized program that encourages students to broaden their intellectual, social and cultural horizons in a rigorous learning environment, and facilitates the placement of graduates in colleges and universities in Canada and abroad.

Standard Level Courses:

Cost of the Program

The school board does not cover the full cost of the IB Program. The amount each student pays depends on the number and type of IB courses selected. Fees cover the cost of membership of the International Baccalaureate organization which is based in Geneva, curriculum implementation locally and the cost of supplies. In each grade, a portion of the fee charged covers these costs as well as those described for that grade level.
