“Grey Matter” Premiere-Kay Meek Theatre 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM
The Advanced Film class at Rockridge is proud to present their latest feature film, a drama/thriller/comedy based on the short story Grey Matter by Stephen King. Originally published in 1973, Grey Matter is about the lengths one would go to for their family… with a dark twist. Rockridge Film has spent this year writing, rehearsing, filming, and editing this story to best convey not only the story’s message, but the filmmaking expertise of our students.
Many students in the class aspire to post-secondary education in filmmaking and an eventual career in the industry. By attending the film’s premiere on March 15th at the Kay Meek Theatre, you would be contributing to our Rockridge community and encouraging our students’ education by supporting their work. Tickets are only $12 and are available for purchase through the link below, or from any of the film’s cast or crew. Rockridge Film class hopes to see you at the premiere of Grey Matter! Term 2 Report Cards Published to the Portal
Term 2 report cards will be published today, Thursday, March 15th, and available for viewing this afternoon. You will receive an email from MyEd confirming that reports have been published. All students in grades 8, 9, and 10 will receive two reports: a Standards Based MYP report card and a traditional non-MYP report. Students in grade 11 who are also taking MYP courses will also receive two reports.
Report cards will appear in the “Published Reports” frame on the webpage. NOTE: do not click on the “term grades posted” hyperlinks as they do not contain any parent accessible data.
If you are unable to log in to your MyEd Parent Portal account:
- If you have forgotten your password, you can request a one-time use temporary password by clicking on the “I forgot my password” link on the login page. You will need your username, primary email and answer to your security question. It is strongly recommended to always re-activate an account from a laptop/desktop computer as smart phones are limited in their ability to show pop-ups that are part of an account re-activation.
- If your account is “disabled”, email Mr. Crowley at jcrowley@wvschools.ca and he can make an account re-enable request. Do not send an email to the general Rockridge email account for any matters pertaining to Parent Portal access
Term 2 Report cards will be accessible on the parent portal until June 8th. It is recommended that you keep a hard or digital copy for future reference.

Rockridge Winter Party Postponed
Please be advised that the Winter Party scheduled for Saturday, the 24th has regrettably been postponed due to safety concerns. We are actively making plans to reschedule the event and will be notifying you on Monday in the e-bulletin with the details. Stay tuned and meanwhile, hang onto those tickets!
