Power has now been restored to Eagle Harbour Montessori school.

The StrongStart program at Eagle Harbour Montessori school has been cancelled today due to the power outage.

Power recently went out at Eagle Harbour Montessori school. While we have no confirmation about the expected duration of this outage as yet from BC Hydro, school will open normally today. As this is the only outage in Metro Vancouver at this time, it will likely be back on relatively quickly. However, please dress children warmly this morning and take extra care when driving in the vicinity of the school, as the outage may make the area dark this morning.

All schools across the district have power and are open as usual this morning.
November 18, 2015 – 7:35 am
Power has now been restored at Eagle Harbour Montessori school. Systems are operating normally and school will be open at the usual time.

- This morning, power has been restored at Westcot Elementary and Ecole Cedardale. All systems are operating normally.
- A power outage related to the wind storm last night is affecting Eagle Harbour Montessori school this morning. The school will open normally. Please dress children in warm clothing (sweater or jacket) and exercise caution when driving in the area.

This afternoon at approximately 2:15 pm, Westcot Elementary and Ecole Cedardale lost power due to heavy winds in the area.
Dismissal will take place as scheduled, but please be aware that traffic lights in these areas may be affected. Please drive with caution when picking up or dropping off children at school this afternoon.
Updates will be provided should further schools be affected, or outages persist that affect schools tomorrow morning.
