Important Information

2022 – 2023 REGISTRATION OPENS ON OCTOBER 15, 2021 FOR  ALL KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS AND IN-CATCHMENT STUDENTS ENTERING GRADES 1 – 3

To comply with health and safety guidelines, all required admissions documents are being accepted electronically by October 22, 2021. Parents and visitors should not enter the school without an appointment.

Good-quality PDF copies of all required documentation must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian to cypresspark@wvschools.ca

Poor-quality scans or photos will not be accepted.

Please note: Cypress Park requires a minimum of two residential support documents in addition to proof of ownership or a tenancy agreement. Click here for a printable list.

Documents must be submitted by a parent or legal guardian, not another family member, caregiver or friend. Relocation and/or real estate agents are not permitted to act independently for parents.

Student Admissions

Cypress Park Primary School, an IB World School, is pleased to accept applications for children entering Kindergarten to Grade 3 who reside both within and outside of the West Vancouver School District.

Please read the West Vancouver School District’s student admission guidelines for more information.

If your family is residing in Canada under a Diplomatic posting, Refugee protection form, Study or Work Permit  (collectively called Fundable Admissions), you may be enroled in West Vancouver schools, subject to regulations under Canadian federal government and West Vancouver Schools policy. You must first complete a document review procedure before completing the student admission application form. To learn about the document review process, please click here.  Once completed, the Fundable Admission team will contact you by email with next steps.

When to Apply

Admission for the 2021 – 2023 school year is ongoing, but most grade levels are full with waitlists. New applicants may not be placed. Please contact the school office directly for more information. Waitlists are not carried over from year to year.

Admission for the 2022 – 2023 school year begins in the fall, according to the following timelines:

OCTOBER 15, 2021

  • Admissions opens to all students entering Kindergarten (including in-catchment, out-of-catchment and out-of-district) and all students living IN-CATCHMENT entering Grades 1 to 3

JANUARY 17, 2022

  • Admissions opens to OUT-OF-CATCHMENT and OUT-OF-DISTRICT students entering Grades 1 to 3

Current students do not need to re-apply

How to Apply

Simply click here to submit an online admission form. Please note that registrations are completed online only and applications will be date and time stamped at the point of online submission.

Important: Applications are not considered complete until you have submitted good-quality PDF copies of all supporting documentation to the school office at cypresspark@wvschools.ca

Students with incomplete applications will not receive offers nor be placed on waitlists.
