Cari Wilson

Cari Wilson is currently the Vice Principal of Innovation and Technology with West Vancouver Schools. With a Masters in Educational Technology, Cari has spent over 25 years in education, much of it in a BYOD environment. Cari is passionate about the mindful but engaging integration of technology in education and well as the need to encourage more girls and students from diverse backgrounds to get interested in STEAM-based learning. Cari is an Apple Distinguished Educator, a Certified Google Trainer and a recipient of the 2024 Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. She is one of the instructors at TenTon Robotics and she is the founder of Girls With superPowers – an organization that aims to inspire more young women to experience and enjoy computer programming. In addition, Cari writes a weekly ed-tech blog that is internationally read, and she delivers Professional Development around the province and further abroad. Recently, Cari’s focus has been on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and Education and what it all means for the future.
