Maarten Bosman

My name is Maarten, and this year I am one of the coaches for the WVS Field Hockey Academy.

I was born and raised in the Netherlands and have been working as a professional hockey trainer and coach for 15 years. Hockey is my passion and my life, and it has taken me to many places around the world.

This is my second year in Vancouver; alongside my work as Head Coach at SeaToSky, I am also involved as an assistant coach for the Canadian men’s team. It’s fantastic to contribute to a club program every week, work with international players, and now take on this role as an Academy trainer. It’s very varied, but great fun!

We’re going to have a wonderful year—see you on the pitch!
