STEM Experience

Shonn comes from a Mechanical Engineering background and is very passionate about design and building mechanical devices. He has excellent troubleshooting skills with technology and has used a variety of robotics systems including Lego NXT, ROBOTC and Arduino. Shonn enjoys working with and mentoring students of all skill levels and encouraging their creativity and competitiveness in the creation of robotic devices. Shonn’s key strengths include building thinking classrooms, making meaningful connection with students, and one on one student support.  Prior to finishing his Bachelor of Education Shonn worked for DMAC Automation where he was involved in the design and troubleshooting of robotic automation systems and has also taught one on one and small group tutoring.
