A Library Card for Every Student

This fall, 3,500 students at West Vancouver elementary schools are receiving West Vancouver Memorial Library cards, thanks to a partnership between the Library and the School District. With their new library cards, students will have access to a wide spectrum of collections to foster their love of reading and enhance their learning. This includes the library’s notable print collections, and thousands of kids ebooks, downloadable audiobooks, online magazines and educational databases available on the website. First piloted at West Bay Elementary School in 2015, the library plans to extend this partnership to West Vancouver secondary schools in 2017.
