Rockridge Secondary Theatre Company is proud to present, “Radium Girls” by D. W. Gregory.

Synopsis:

RADIUM GIRLS  begins in a bright and bustling factory in 1918.  Radium was a miracle cure, Madame Curie an international celebrity, and luminous watches the latest rage – until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease.  Inspired by a true story, RADIUM GIRLS tells the story of Grace Fryer, a dial painter, as she fights for her day in court.   This is a play about courage, friendship, standing up for justice, science, and worker’s rights.

Dates:  Feb. 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, & March 1.

Where:  Player’s Hall,  Rockridge Secondary

Doors Open:  6:30 pm

Curtain:  7:00 pm

Length:  2 hours with a 15 min. intermission

Concession:  For sale will be snacks of the era:  popcorn & penny candy
