News and Announcements

Thank you to all families who continually support our HPAC Fundraisers!  Without your support we cannot carry out these fundraisers and support our school and students by being able to purchase much needed devices or contribute to upgrades such as our playground or garden areas as well as many other ways your fundraising dollars go to help the school.

Secretary:  Cristina Pascale

Hot Lunch Coordinator: Sheila Barton

Hot Lunch Distribution:  Bona Kim, Bella Li, Iryna Kocheran

DPAC Rep:  Sogol Zaimi

The HPAC meets once monthly on the second Thursday of each month alternating with morning meetings one month and evening meetings the following month to give all parents the opportunity to attend a meeting that suits their schedules. All parents are welcome to attend.

Hot lunch

This committee chair determines the hot lunch providers, the days of the week the service will be offered, and runs a group of parent volunteers who share hot lunch days. Parent volunteers are required for hot lunch set up and distribution each week. This is our biggest fundraiser and requires a robust group of volunteers who enjoy the added perk of visiting their kids during lunch hour.

Library & Book Fair Committee

HPAC and The Librarian manage a Scholastics Book Fair every Fall. The Book Fair is set-up in the school library. The chair of this event liaisons with Scholastics and organizes the volunteer effort, which includes set-up, promotions and staffing at the event days. Our Scholastic Book fair directly benefits our school library.

Garden Committee

This group of gardening enthusiasts, helps improve, beautify and maintain the school grounds. Children are also encouraged to work with the volunteers to build pride and joy in the gardens they get to enjoy everyday.

Fundraising Committee

This committee helps to determine the fundraising programs and opportunities that students and families are asked to participate in. Fundraising is on going for our HPAC operating budget, Class room and Technology enhancement as well as Playground and Garden upgrades.
