Homestay Payment Grid
All fees are in Canadian dollars.
This grid calculates the daily homestay fees owing/ or reimbursed when a student is moving out of a home.

The storage and maintenance fee for the non-academic time (July and August) are arranged directly between student and host and cannot exceed the fees directed by West Vancouver Schools International Programs, see suggested amount here:
- Summer Room Maintenance: $500.00 per month
- Luggage/belongings storage fee: $250.00 per month
We highly recommend the usage of the Room Maintenance/Storage Fee Record document as additional support
Students moving rates are calculated per night.
Example: Student moving on March 10
Host family A entitled to homestay fees March 1-9, total of $406.45
If Host A received the full monthly amount of $1,400.00, the family will reimburse the total of $993.55 (March 10-31)
New Host, Family B, entitled to the amount of $993.55 (March 10-31)
Program End – June Departures
The final month of the academic year is a monthly commitment. The last month homestay fee is non-refundable regardless of the date a student is departing their homestay. All belongings must be taken by the student at that time.
