2026 Legacy Parent Appreciation BBQ

The Sentinel PAC Legacy Team recently hosted a Parent Appreciation BBQ to celebrate and thank the many volunteers and donors who help make our school community such a special place.

It was a wonderful evening filled with great food, conversation, and community spirit. A special thank you to Principal Mike Finch and Ms. Ulinder, who stepped behind the grill as our “Grill Master” for the event, helping make the evening both memorable and fun.

The success of Sentinel’s programs, events, and opportunities is made possible through the generosity of our families who give their time, energy, and support throughout the year. We are grateful for all that our parent volunteers and donors contribute to our school community.

2026 Multi-Cultural Lunch on Thursday, March 5th, 2026

Our Multi Cultural Lunch continues to be a popular tradition in our school community, and this year’s event was another wonderful success. With 12 cultural food tables, dedication of over 200 volunteers the day was filled with connection, generosity, and celebration. Together, we raised over $19,000 most of which will go directly toward scholarships for deserving Grade 12 students.

Valentines Treats

Every year in February, our PAC “shows the love” by distributing delicious Valentines treats to teachers, counsellors, custodians, cafeteria staff, education assistants and administration staff – it takes more than 100 adults every day to help make Sentinel the great school that it is!

Holiday Staff Appreciation Lunch on December 16, 2025

What a wonderful day at Sentinel Tuesday! ❤️

Our Holiday Staff Appreciation Luncheon was our way of saying a BIG thank you to the teachers and staff who support our students every day.

Thanks to our parent’s generosity, PAC provided an enormous and delicious homemade luncheon, as well as a $25 gift card to each staff member as a token of our appreciation. The smiles and thanks from all the staff reminded us how meaningful these gestures can be.

From delicious homemade dishes to cheerful decorations and helping hands, this was truly a PAC community effort. THANK YOU to all parents who contributed time, food, and funds — we couldn’t have done it without you. 💕
