GRADUATION BANQUET DINNER AND DANCE – Saturday, May 24, 2025
6pm at the Westin Bayshore: This is a formal celebration for grads and their parents. Students with separated parents are welcome to invite both sets. Grads are also welcome to invite a date if they choose. More information will be available in the spring.
CONVOCATION LEAVING CEREMONY – Sunday, June 15, 2025
11am at the Orpheum Theatre: This graduation celebration sees students cross the stage in their cap and gown in front of family and friends. Gowns will be ordered in CLC classes.
Tickets will be $20 and can be purchased at the door. There is no limit on numbers.

VALEDICTORIAN
Each year, our graduates vote in a member of their class to speak on their behalf at the Leaving Ceremony. Applications to be on the ballot will be available in May in the counselling office.
CAREER LIFE CONNECTIONS
CLC 12 is a graduation requirement and meets periodically during X-block. Students are responsible for participating in mandatory sessions, check-ins and submitting online assignments. Students will gain insight and knowledge for their transition into post-secondary, the work force and their personal life journey. This course culminates with students presenting their Graduation Capstone project in the spring of 2025.
Students need to check their CLC 12 Google classroom for current assignments, post-secondary information, updates on University applications, mark submissions and scholarship opportunities.
CAPSTONE
All grade 12s will complete a Capstone project as part of their CLC credit. Students will be given detailed guidance in CLC classes.
SCHOLARSHIPS

GRADUATION PHOTOS: November 26- December 7, 2024
Grad Photos – Book your session! Edge Imaging | Booking Your Appointment
Graduation photos will start on November 26th- December 7, 2024 and be taken at the Edge Imaging Studio at 15 Victoria Drive, Vancouver.
- Limited appointments are available so please book your appointment early to get the best possible time for you.
- All portraits need to be completed before March 1st to make it into the yearbook.
- Students are encouraged to book and attend a free sitting to have portraits taken. This portrait will be used in the yearbook and school composite and there is no obligation to buy.
Casual Portraits —Personal lifestyle photos will be available if you wish in addition to the formal grad portraits. Edge Imaging offers a multitude of backgrounds, posing, and props in our custom Vancouver studio. Please wear your favorite outfit. We encourage you to bring any personal accessories such as sporting equipment, musical instruments, etc. to commemorate this special milestone.
Traditional Portraits — For the formal grad portrait sittings Edge Imaging will provide the gowns, sash, and cap. Gentlemen, please wear a dress shirt and tie. Ladies, please wear a mandarin collar or a V-neck. Please take note that the gown colour is black, and the sash colour is red. Please sign up through the link provided or using the QR code on the posters at your school. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.
YEARBOOK WRITE UP AND BABY PICTURE
In January, students will be asked to submit a Yearbook write-up and baby picture, which will be printed with their graduation portrait. Information will be distributed in CLC.

SCHOOL AND COMMENCEMENT FEES
We ask that all families make arrangements through School Cash Online to pay any and all outstanding school fees prior to June 1. The Convocation Fee specifically covers all costs related to the graduation video including the Crossing the Stage, individual still photographs, hat toss video, and highlight reel. lGr. 12 Provincial Literacy Assessment:
All grade 12’s are required to write the literacy assessment. It does not impact grades and is currently an assessment for Ministry purposes only. More details on the assessment date and location will be provided to students soon.
