Congratulations to the Senior Girls soccer team who defeated Sentinel yesterday 3-1. Goal scorers were Eve Wigmore, Lexi Bleuler and Regina Garza. The girls are looking forward to their rematch against Handsworth next week.
Grade 11 & 12: University of California-Davis and Berkeley are visiting today at 2:50pm by the cafeteria.
Congratulations to the Highlander Hockey team for their 5-3 win over Burnaby Mountain. Great goal tending from Ben Brink and a pair of goals from Jaryn Sluchinski led the way. Zakary Esmail also became the youngest player to score a goal in league history. Well done boys!
Congrats to the Badminton team for their perfect record in the regular season. The team will enter the North Shore play off as the #1 seed. All the best in the post season!

Volleyball players: Reminder open gym on Wednesday from 3:00-4:15. There will be a meeting regarding the volleyball camp in May on Wednesday at lunch or see Ms. Finch if you want to help out. Any players who played on the Senior team this year are expected to help!
Congratulations to the Senior Boys rugby 7s team who placed 6th at provincials this past weekend. The boys were 1 of only 3 public schools to crack the top 8.
The senior boys rugby team takes on McNair in Richmond today in a friendly exhibition.
The junior boys rugby team plays host to St.George's tomorrow. Kick off is at 3:30 pm.

Attention Fashion Industry 12 and Textiles 11 students attending tomorrows fashion shoe field trip:Today is your last day to hand in your field trip forms and ticket money. Please hand in your field trip forms to Ms.Peterson in the textiles room today.
You still have time to sign up for the BC Children's Hospital Run for the Kids. 100% of the proceeds goes to the oncology department.

Do you have a passion for history and want to learn more about WWII and the Holocaust? WVSS is planning a trip to Europe for the 75th annivesary of the Normandy DDay Landings in France and a tour of memorial sites in Poland and Germany. There will be a student information meeting next Tuesday April 24th at lunch in room W352.

The senior boys rugby team play host to the Kitsilano Blue Demon's tomorrow afternoon as they look to go 3 and 0 for the season! Come out and support your Highlanders who are now second in AAA provincial rankings!
Congratulations to the junior boys rugby 7s team who swept the Mulgrave International 7s tournament! They had a combined score over 4 games of 75-0. Jay Armitage was named tournament MVP. The boys are back to league play tomorrow vs Carson!
