Sep 27 2017Congrats to the Gr. 8 Boys Rugby team on their first game of the season against Carson Graham. Both teams scored 4 ties a piece with West Van’s courtesy of Shayan Kermany, Bruce Jones and Braedon George. Practice is on the North Field today!
Senior Girls Volleyball team battled hard against STA last night. They won the side out percentages and the overall team points, losing narrowly in the 5th set by 2 points, delaying the next match by one hour. We will take them in league! Cate and Macy Meldrum had top assists. Shannon Bushe and Nicola Aspden lead the team in kills.
Senior Field Hockey take on rivals Sentinel Spartans today. Come down to Rutledge Field at 3:30 to cheer them on.
Student Council is organizing the Terry Fox Run this Friday at lunch. Joining in is easy. Bring a donation, meet in front of the main bleachers and run or walk the course. You can also make a donation and buy a raffle ticket in front of the cafeteria at lunch. Let’s pitch in to support cancer research. Get ready to walk or run on Friday.
Theatre Company will meet today from 3-4:30 pm in the Drama Room for our next pre-production meeting.

If you would like to write the practice SAT exam, registrations are now being accepted in the Main Office with Mrs. Madill. The cost is $20 and the exam takes place on Wednesday, October 11th.
