Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year), or Spring Festival is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. The Chess Club is run by a Chess Master on Friday

All levels of players are welcome from grade 3 and up.

If room available (grade 2 accepted)

Students play chess, solve puzzles and learn new strategies.

The weather is changing and we have many items already in our lost and found that will be needed for the transition to winter weather. Please come and take a look for your child’s lost or forgotten clothing. They will be available for viewing on the main floor until the end of November. Any unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity.

Parking, drop-off zones and road safety at PJ continue to be concerning for our school community. We have the full support of the district and the West Vancouver Police, as well as some parent volunteers helping.  However, should you see people breaking the bylaws or acting unsafely, please know that you are able to report the licence plate number and make of car to the West Vancouver By Law Office at 604-925-7152. Please take the extra time to find parking and walk the ½ block to bring your child to the school. There is no parking in the drop off zones.  Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense.
