Our Events

Coffee Morning

Don’t miss our popular Coffee Mornings at the start of each term—a welcoming event for all WVSS parents and caregivers! It’s the perfect way to start your day—enjoy a warm cup of coffee, meet fellow parents, and hear directly from our Principal about what’s happening at the school.

This is a wonderful opportunity to stay informed about school news, explore learning opportunities for your students, and share ideas within our parent community. Whether you’re new to WVSS or a returning family, we’d love to see you there.

Executive Meeting

Interested in discussing school matters or sharing ideas? We’d love to have you join us! Our PAC executive meetings are a great opportunity for parents to connect, exchange ideas, and work together to build a vibrant school community for our kids and families. Whether you want to listen in, share suggestions, or simply meet other parents, you are always welcome. Together, we can make WVSS an even better place for our children to learn and grow!

Fundraiser

The WVSS PAC hosts fundraising activities year-round—like plant sales, chocolate drives, and donation campaigns—to help our school and students thrive. Your support has funded scholarships, the Principal’s Excellence Fund, equipment for student clubs, athletic uniforms, transportation for extracurricular events, and more. Every contribution, big or small, makes a difference. Together, we can continue building a strong, supportive parent community that helps our students grow and succeed.

PAC Social Event

Connect with fellow parents and caregivers at our friendly PAC gatherings! Whether it’s sharing ideas over dinner, catching up on school news at a casual drawing party, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee together at a local café, there’s always a warm space for you. We organize a variety of social events to help our PAC community connect and grow. Come join us at our next meetup—we’d love to see you there!

Annual General Meeting

We warmly invite all parents to join us at our Annual General Meeting! This special gathering is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with fellow parents, reflect on the year we’ve shared, and look ahead to the exciting plans for the future. Together, we’ll celebrate the PAC’s events and highlights, review the year’s finances, vote on next year’s budget, and approve the new executive team. You’ll also hear directly from our Principal, Mr. Steve Rauh, about the past year at West Vancouver Secondary School, including student achievements and successes. Light refreshments will be served—along with great conversations and community spirit!

Staff Appreciation Lunch

The Annual Staff Appreciation Lunch is a special tradition cherished by both parents and school staff. It’s our way of celebrating the incredible dedication of our teachers and staff, and showing them just how much they mean to us. Families contribute in so many thoughtful ways—bringing delicious dishes, tasty treats, and offering their time and support. Together, we turn this luncheon into a heartfelt celebration and a true feast to remember. We’d love for you to join us in making this year’s event extra special!
