The Dance Program is excited to welcome back our Competitive Dance Crew Course for the coming year in September 2022!! This is a course that trains in all disciplines of hip hop: R&B, Old School, PCDY Femme Style, Commerical, K POP, and Dance Hall. In this class dancers will learn a high-level piece of choreography throughout the year that they will take
to competitions against other schools in the Spring to compete. This is an exciting and dynamic program to be a part of! Auditions and more information about the program will be on: WEDNESDAY JANUARY 26th at LUNCH in the Dance Studio! You will learn a short piece of choreo to show off your dance skills to Ms. Castro! Grade 10 - 12: Anyone interested in playing for the school’s hockey team in the upcoming season there is a sign-up sheet
in the main office. Students can also sign up in Connect with Mr. Stoddart or the CRC with Mr. Rispin. The season starts after Spring Break so it won’t interfere with your current hockey team’s schedule. Join the Highlanders as we push for the
North Shore High School Hockey League cup!!
Grade 12: The application for School Based Scholarships is now available on the Counselling website. The deadline to apply is Feb 25th.

Congrats to the Sr Girls Basketball Team on their 60-35 win over the Handsworth Royals last night in league play.
Standings with the playoffs approaching in a couple of weeks. Well done girls!!!

Your Senior Boys Basketball took on the Rockridge Ravens last night and played a great game that came down to the last few seconds. Unfortunately, we ended up losing 55 to 51 but your Highlanders put forth an outstanding effort.

Do you have any old phones, computers, or video game equipment? Take time to look for old or unused electronics you might have laying around your house and dispose of them in the red bins next to the library.
