13 students have signed up for parking passes but today there are about 25 cars in the student lot. Cars without stickers will be towed!
The Senior Football team's next game is this Friday at 1 pm at WVSS.
Anyone looking for great volunteer hours with the TedX West Vancouver event this week, please see Mr. Anderson in E300 today.
If you are looking for volunteer hours, we need 38 students to help on Meet the Teachers night. Volunteers meet at 5 pm and will be finished by 8:30. Please sign up at the Main Office.
We are planning a school service trip to the Dominican Republic in February. If you are interested in gaining volunteer hours, helping a community in need and staying at a beach resort, we will be having a parent information session today at 6 pm in C231.
If you would like to write the practice SAT exam, registrations are now being accepted in the Main Office with Mrs. Madill. The cost is $20 and the exam takes place on Wednesday, October 11th.

Congrats to the Senior Field Hockey team on their 3rd place finish at Polar Bears High School tournament. The team played extremely well considering this is the start of their fall season. 1 goal against for the tournament is awesome. Good luck in your North Shore league opener against Argyle on Wednesday afternoon girls!
A reminder to Junior & Senior Girls Field Hockey practice on Tuesday morning on Ambleside E from 7:30 - 8:30.
The Senior Football team won their second game of the year on Friday 34 - 23 over W.J. Mouat. Ben Corbett had a great game and Connor Chapman was a standout on offense and defense. Next game is this Friday at 1 pm at WVSS.
Tomorrow is our first Collaboration Time of the year. On these days teachers have morning meetings and regular classes do not start until 9:40. the lobrary and cafeterias are open to work or study from 8:30 to 9:40. the gyms are also open. Choir and orchestra meet at 7:30 - the regular time.

The Junior Football team lost a close game yesterday 27-14 to WJ Mouat. Solid first performance considering the team is just coming together. Senior Football plays tonight at 7 pm at WJ Mouat Secondary.
Senior Girls Volleyball team played their first matches last night in Delta against two top ranked teams. Our Highlanders took 9 set off Tweedsmuir and were close with Seaquam. Shannon Bushe lead the team with 12 kills and Macy Meldrum added with 8! Kate Sykes' play was outstanding in the setting position - all players are congratulated for their strong start to the season!
