There will be an important meeting for Grade 8 Boys Basketball at lunch today, in Ms. Taylor’s room, W343.

Congratulations to the Wrestling team who were a force at yesterday’s first North Shore meet of the year. Highlights included Jade Anuden’s first win of his wrestling career and Amin Rajabi’s quick and powerful take-downs.

The senior boys’ basketball team competed in the Point Grey Tournament this past weekend winning one game and losing two. Players of the game for the three games were: Oliver Grey, Nate Gouglas and Radin Akbari with Oliver also
picking up an all-star award. Next game for the team if this Wednesday at 7:30 at West Van vs. Sentinel.

Hi Highlanders! Student council is excited to announce that starting next Thursday (Dec. 9th) we will be holding movie sessions during lunch through X block! There will be hot chocolate and treats available. The entry fee is donation money or canned food, which will be donated to a food bank. Hope to see you there!

Today at lunch, Ms. Gruber’s Textiles 9 class is holding a bake sale to raise money for the Holiday Hamper! There will be cookies, muffins, cupcakes and more set up for sale outside of the cafeteria. Bring your change (CASH ONLY) and indulge!
