Grade 8 football players. There will be a mandatory meeting Friday at lunch in Mr.Keary’s room. We need final numbers for spring participation.

There will be a meeting for all Junior and Senior students interested in trying out for the WVSS Tennis Team next Tuesday, March 6th at lunch in Mr.Green’s room C302. Tryouts will occur the last week before spring break. If you have any questions please see Mr.Green.

Badminton tryouts for Grade 8 & 9’s are Wednesday after school in the new gym. See you there!

Grade 12’s who would like to find out more about the District Scholarship are invited to an information meeting in the career programs office at lunch time on Wednesday March 7.

Attention all grads – a very important reminder from your Yearbook team: The deadline to submit your grad write ups and baby photos for the yearbook is coming up very soon! you have until March 6th to get yours in. Please visit the grad Facebook page or the counselling suite to get the link to the google form if you do not have it already. Please contact Ms.Zanrosso with any questions.

Interested in our Carpentry program for September 2018! Applications are due March 16th. Talk to someone in the Career programs office for more information.

All girls in grades 10-12 who are interested in trying out for the Senior Girls soccer team, please sign up on the sheet outside the CRC. See Mr.MacNeil if you have any questions.

Congratulations to the girls Rugby team on a hard fought first game vs Chatalech yesterday. It was a 10-5 loss, but plenty of positive play from our girls. Standouts were Margot Warner, Georgia Devonshire, and Abby Young who had the lone try! Next game is Wednesday at home vs Moscrop. Come out and show your highlander pride!
