May 31 2019The Lunchbox: WVSS gender and sexuality alliance meets today at lunch in the dance studio. New people are always enthusiastically welcomed. Ever wanted to check it out but wanted to know more about it first??? Talk to Mr. McLeod or Ms. Castro and they can tell you all about it.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Sr. boys rugby team on their 36-11 win over Nanaimo District in their semi-final match at the Provincial tournament! Right from the opening whistle, the boys came out on the attack, scoring three tries in the first 15 minutes of play and dominating possession throughout the match. However, the Nanaimo side were persistent, forcing the Highlanders to stay on their game and keep up the attack until the end. It was a great team effort with standout performances by Ben Welsh and Harry Waddell and tries also scored by Simon Li and Aidan Izadi. Good luck boys on Saturday in the final versus Lord Byng!
