First Term CSL Reports: Online Only (Friday, December 11)

First Term Reports for Communicating Student Learning will be released in digital versions on FreshGrade and the MyEd BC Family Portal.  No paper copies of the main report will be sent home.  Reports will be available online Friday, December 11 at approximately 3 PM. Here are some important details:

  • MyEd BC Family Portal (Division 1 to 9):  The Primary Contact for each student in Divisions 1 to 9 should now have initialized their MyEd Family Portal so they can view the document.  If you have not yet initialized your account, please be aware that you MUST USE A COMPUTER to set up your MyEd Family Portal account. If you are having any difficulties check the district MyEd Family Portal Support page for detailed information and Frequently Asked Questions that should help.  If, after trying to solve any issues on your own, you are still unable to access the portal and/or the document, then please email Ms. Verdicchio (lverdicchio@wvschools.ca) who will be available to help families starting on MONDAY, December 14.
  • FreshGrade (Division 10 to 16): Parents log in to the “Parent” FreshGrade account using either the App or https://parent.freshgrade.com/#login. The PDF of the Communicating Student Learning Report will be available on the portfolio. If you have not already done so, accept the classroom teacher’s invitation for access to your child’s portfolio. If you need another invitation, please email the classroom teacher.

IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING ELL AND IEP REPORTS: Please note that English Language Learner Reports and Individual Education Plans will be sent home with students in an envelope.

IMPORTANT: Please Complete Online District Personal Verification, Emergency, Policy and Procedure Forms

PERMISSION FORMS. Each year, parents/guardians must complete various forms for their children for the upcoming school year. The District Personal Information Verification, Emergency, Policy and Procedure Forms must be completed online. The personal information is gathered through three tabs (Student Tab, Family Tab, Alerts Tab). In addition, these online forms also cover use of school internet, Google Apps for Education consent and media parental consent form. Due to privacy laws, THESE E-FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED EACH YEAR. To access the online forms CLICK HERE . (Note that you if are new to the district you will be required to set up an account to start the process). Please complete the forms by Friday, September 18. Failure to complete this form may result in your child being unable to go on walking field trips with their class, use an electronic device at school, or participate fully in some is some school activities. Your child’s school will also provide paper-based forms that need to be completed and returned to school no later than Friday, September 18.
