Getting to and from Cypress Park

Drop-off and pick-up times can be busy at all school sites. Thank you for respecting our staff and volunteers who help direct traffic and keep students safe.

Whenever possible, consider carpooling, taking the bus, walking, or using another form of active transportation. These choices help reduce congestion and make our school zone safer and less stressful for everyone.

Drive to 5

During busy drop-off and pick-up periods, consider a “Drive to 5” approach. Drive most of the way to school, then park approximately a five-minute walk away and walk the rest of the way.

This simple approach can help reduce congestion immediately around the school while giving students an opportunity to get some fresh air and movement before or after school.

If you need to drive, please allow yourself enough time to travel safely and patiently. Your behaviour in the school zone is an important example for students.
