Grade 8 intramurals continue today at lunch. So far, Wolves have been the house with the best turn out. Orcas, T-Birds and Grizzlies, come out an join the fun! Today is basketball.

A reminder to PE 12 leadership that we are skating on Thursday at 10:00.
Attention Grade 12 students: Grad transition classes are happening today and tomorrow. Those who missed their 2-1 class can come after school today.
Time is running out. If you plan to donate to your advisory hamper, why not purchase some 50/50 tickets and perhaps win too. See Mrs. Earland C338 to purchase/sell tickets or find an advisory rep.
Holiday Hampers are happening soon. One fundraiser to help out is a 50/50 draw. Each ticket is only $1.00 but 50% of the sales will go to one lucky winner. The more tickets sold the better. Pick up tickets to sell from Mrs. Earland in C3338.

The Senior Field hockey team wrapped up their season this past Friday in Richmond at Provincials. The team played very well placing 2nd in their pool. A win against Oak Bay put them in the final match against McMath. The teams finished with a tie, so they went into shootouts. Again, another tie, so sudden death. McMath scored the final shootout goal. West Van finished 6th in the Province. What a season. Lots of great memories, team spirit and fantastic commitment from this squad. A special shout out to the retiring grade 12 girls who played their hearts out throughout the season and throughout Provincials: Hannah Schoenroth, Tessa Johnston, Alix Vanry, Sierra Merrill, Jessica Mayhew, and Taylor Vaughn.
Pride club members, a reminder that our meetings have moved to Fridays at lunch. Also, a reminder to bring Khatherine $5 in the art room today for a cupcake next Friday.

On the weekend the Swim team won 5 medals at the BC Championships led by a gold by Fernanda Vejar-Richter. other medal winning swimmers were Thomas Dignum, Sophia Hartvikson, Jessica Strong, Tina Guan, and Kian Karimi. Congrats on some amazing swimming!

This is an important announcement for Grade 8,9 & 10 girls basketball:
- Grade 9/10 girls practice today from 5:00-6:30 pm in the new gym - a schedule for the rest of the week is posted by the gym.
- Grade 8 girls are asked to check the list posted by the new gym for information and next tryout.
Tomorrow is the collaboration day for November. Students are reminded that regular instruction does not start until 9:40 am.The library, gyms, and cafeteria will be available.
