The West Van Film and Animation Showcase is happening tonight at 7:00 at the Kay Meek Theater. Don't miss the event that everyone will be talking about all summer long. Invite your family! Invite your friends! Did i tell you how amazing this is going to be? And it's free! Absolutely free.
For students participating in next year's trip to the Galapagos islands, there will be a meeting in room C335 today at lunch.

4 x 100 Relay Challenge takes place today at the beginning of lunch. Runners to meet on the track at 1:00. Students from Mr.Baker, Ms.Finch and Mr. Ros' classes are running.
All track and field athletes should have handed in their uniform by now. If you have not then please hand it in to the office or room W241.
Interested in playing Field Hockey next year? All current grade 10 and 11 girls interested, there is a meeting tomorrow, June 19th at lunch in E300.

It's almost time for the event of the year!! That's right! The third annual West-Van-Film and Animation student showcase happens tomorrow night at 7:00 pm at the Kay Meek Theatre. Everyone is invited and it won't cost you a nickel. That's right, the film and animation showcase is completely free! Invite your friends, invite your family! A message from the library: A reminder that all books are now due back to the library. There are now 721 books signed out that need to be returned. Please help us get all the books returned by the end of the year by checking around your home, classroom, and locker for books.
All track and field athletes are reminded to hand in their uniforms to the South or North campus offices or to Mrs. Buchanan in W241.
Open gym for all grade 8 & 9 girls wanting to play volleyball in the fall. See Mr. MacNeil if you have any questions.
Students that will be in Grade 11 or 12 next year ans are interested in travelling to the Galapagos Islands and the Amazon jungle, please see Mr. Richardson or Ms.Earland. Registration ends this Friday.

Today is the 74th anniversary of D-Day, a major turning point in World War II when Canadian and Allied forces landed on the beaches of Normandy, France in the largest military operation of all time. If you are interested in visiting the beaches, touring Europe and commemorating the 75th anniversary next June, please see Ms.Thind, Ms.Paget or Mr. Stead for more details about the trip.
