Attention Cadets! All Cadets that are helping with the Remembrance Day Assemblies, please meet Mr Anderson tomorrow, at lunch in the main office.

This is for the attention of the textiles 9 students who are attending today's field trip: You are meeting in front of the office at 11:15am. Please be on time!

Attention grade 8 and 9 students in mA+h Academy. There will be a meeting today after school as usual down at Mr. Keary's room. Make sure to be there for extra help.

Are you thinking about a career in Law Enforcement, Corrections, Forensics, Probation's or Criminal Justice? An SFU student will be in the Career Programs Office at lunch on Wednesday Nov 7th to talk about the Criminology Program at SFU. Special Snacks will be Provided!

Attention Basketball Players. Tryouts begin this week. Be attentive to announcements and check the bulletin board between the gyms for your times.

Senior Boys Basketball tryout, Tuesday Night @ 7pm.

Congrats to all cross country runners who raced at the BC Championships on Saturday. Our top performer was Alexander Farlinger who finished 3rd in the province in the Senior Boys Race. Pizza Party will be on Tuesday.

Attentions Grade 11 and 12 students. Queens University is visiting after school in room C233.

Grade 8 girls interested in playing basketball. There is a meeting today at Lunch in south 55.

The Lunchbox is our school's GSA (gender and sexuality alliance). The lunch box is a drop-in that happens in the dance studio every Friday at Lunch. No labels, no judgement, no commitment. Come check it out today!

Improv club meets today after school. Anyone interested in trying out is welcome to come and join us in the Drama room today after school.

Chinese Traditional Culture Club is meeting today @ Lunch in room W256

The Gingerbread House Team is meeting today @ 3pm in Miss Seo's room.

The Grade 8 Rugby Team fought well yesterday against the weather and a very solid opposing team in their semi-final match against Carson Graham. The match started off lopsided in Carson's favour, but the Highlanders came back in the second half. Unfortunately, their efforts came up a bit short. Still, is was a strong team performance let by standout performances from Dorian Carmel and Thea Scott. It was a fun season and all players should be proud of how they performed.

Reminder to Ms Finch's block 1-3 PE class, you are walking to the Rec Centre today for a fitness class. You must leave at 11:15am sharp!

There will be a mandatory Gymnastics Team meeting at lunch in the CRC. If you are still interested in joining this is your last chance.

The Gingerbread House team will not be meeting today. Themeeting has been postponed till Friday @3pm in Miss Seo's classroom.

Message for all students going on the woodworking field trip today, please meet in the wood shop at the beginning of lunch. You will leave at 1pm.

There are STILL photo's and photo retake forms in the office for pick up. Grade 8s can pick them up in the south campus office, and grade 9-12s can pick theirs up in the main office.

Finer Things Club Meeting is today at lunch time in the Drama Room. The students who signed up for this club and haven't joined google classroom yet, there's a code on the poster right across from the Drama Room. Please come, and thank you!

Today is Halloween!!! Come to the old gym at lunch for Halloween Festivities and Costume Contests. There will be great music and prizes!

Hey West Van! The Helping Hands Club will be hosting a Halloween Bake Sale today. They will be selling baked goods such as brownies, cookies and cupcakes. You’ll also have a chance to win a tub full of candy by Guessing how much candy is in the container! All Proceeds will be donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Drive.

School Photo retakes have arrived and can be picked up at the office! Grade 8 photos will be in the south campus office, and grade 9-12s will be in the main office.
We also have photos left from the early Sept sitting to be picked up!

Congratulations to the Senior Girls Volleyball team for their team effort & outstanding play in their last league game this season. It was an exciting first set win versus Handsworth 25 to 21 for West Van. Libby and Macy Meldrum had all-star performances as did Abby Young!
