There will be a Button Sale in front of the caf on Wednesday and Thursday for $2 each. All donations will go to publishing the WVSS writing journal. Bring some change and choose your favourite button designed by the club members. There will also be pre-orders for the writing Journals. Bring $10 to reserve your copy since there are limited a number available
The rehearsal schedule for the musical 10 Things I Hate About You has been updated for this week. Please check the calendar and google classroom.
All students attending Wednesday’s film event at the Kay Meek are reminded to bring their $3 to their teachers ASAP. On Wednesday, please head to the KMC after announcements at 10am.
The French Club is meeting today at lunch in Mr. Thiel's room. They are watching the movie "The Climb" and there will be snacks.
Attention PE 10. 11, 12 Leadership - You are at the West Van Ice Rink on Wednesday for skating. Please arrive by 10:00 am.

Helping Hands Bake Sale is today! Come support the Greater Vancouver Food Drive with a tasty snack.
Reminder to Ms. Baker's PHE class to meet at the ice arena on Wednesday at 10:10 for ice skating.
The grade 8 boys basketball team competed in the Handsworth Tournament this past weekend and played some very good basketball. They lost two very close games to Byrne Creek and Windsor but then in their last game they beat Handsworth 54 to 49 in overtime. Sterling Wallace led the team in scoring with 13 points a game and Behrad Rakhshanfar hit the game tying basket to send the game into overtime. Radin Akbari also hit a buzzer beating three point shot at half time.
The team plays in the Capilano Tournament today, Tuesday and Wednesday.
