A reminder to any student interested in coming to the Dominican to drop off their signed consent forms and cheque deposit to the main office as soon as possible. See Ms. Pirbhai or Mr. McLeod for more details.
Tickets are on sale for the Fashion Show! You can purchase them at the textiles room (C232). $5 for students, $10 for adults. The show is on May 16th at 7pm in the Kay Meek Studio Theatre.
You are invited to the WVSS Writing Journal Launch party on Friday from 4 to 6 at the West van Memorial Library. This is an open event so feel free to bring your family and friends. There will be refreshments & open mic for West van Students if you want to show your creative writing. Journals will also be sold for $10. Hope to see you all there this Friday!

Congrats to the Highlander Hockey Team on their 3-1 victory over Windsor yesterday. It was a great overall team effort with the defense keeping their best players off the score sheet. Goals by Zak Esmail, Mattias Metzner and Nico Drapkin helped seal the deal. Well done boys!
The girls Rugby team played an inspired game yesterday winning 45 to 0 over the Vancouver select team. Tries by Thea Scott, Emma Wardrop, Georgia Devonshire, Kiana Bostitch and Kelly Ton. Well done girls!
Our next and last game of the season is tomorrow, Wednesday at home VS Moscrop from Burnaby. Come out and cheer on your Highlanders! Good Luck Girls.

Helping Hands will be hosting the annual Ice-Cream Finanza tomorrow. Come buy ice-cream and other cold treats.
We are planning a school service trip to the Dominican Republic in February 2020. If you are interested in helping a community in needs, earning volunteer hours, and staying at a beach resort, we will be having an information session for parents and students TONIGHT, Thurs. May 2nd at 7pm in the computer lab. For more info see Miss Pirbhai or Mr McLeod.

Congratulations to our Junior Badminton team for winning the North Shore Championship last night. It was an incredible finish with the entire tournament coming down to the last game. Well done Juniors and we look forward to Regionals. Go Highlanders!
