It will be held in the Audio Visual room at the Sr. Centre from 6 – 8:30 tonight. Look for the flyers around the school for more info. If you need service hours, you can get 3 just by attending.

Congratulations to the Jr. Girls volleyball team for beating Chatelech Secondary, improving their record 3-0.

Grade 8 Rugby team had a hard-fought game against Collingwood yesterday. The boys had a slow start, allowing Collingwood to jump ahead 10-0. However, with a strong surge in the middle of the game, they fought their way back to come within 2 points, 24-22. Unfortunately a late Collingwood try ended the comeback. Way to hang in there Highlanders and better luck on Thursday at home for an exhibition game against St. George's. Come out and cheer the team on!

Congrats to the Jr. Girls Volleyball team for their outstanding play in the Sr. Tournament. The girls played very competitively and even beat Richmond!! Great team effort.

University of Toronto is visiting today at 2:50 pm in C236.

Lausanne School in Switzerland will be visiting Wednesday, October 16 outside the cafeteria after school.

The French Club will be hosting a meeting Wednesday at lunch, come to room E301 for cool short films and yummy snacks. Hope to see you there!

The Improv Club is meeting today after school in the drama room. Tryouts for the WVSS Improv team is after school today in the drama room. All are welcome!

Grade 8 Rugby: They got their first win of the season yesterday in a very convincing 41 to 19 victory over Handsworth and evened their record at 1 and 1. Good work boys and good luck on Tuesday versing Collingwood at Klahanie.

The Jr. Football team was awesome yesterday beating Sullivan Heights 36-20. We dominated with skill, speed, play calling and outstanding play from every Highlander athlete.
