Grade 8 Girls Basketball Tryouts; Tues - Nov 16 at 3:00 pm in the New gym Wed - Nov 17 at 7:30 AM in the New gym Friday - Nov. 19 at 7:30 am New Gym
Grade 8 boys basketball tryouts start tomorrow! Tuesday @ 5:00PM and Wednesday @ 3:00 PM. There may be a third tryout day on Thursday @ 3:00PM. All tryouts are in the new gym and players should plan to attend all tryouts.
Junior Boys Basketball tryouts will take place on Wed Nov. 10 at 7pm in the new gym. Any students in grade 10 who are interested please make sure you are in attendance. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Eberhardt in the main office.
Grade 12 Students: University application sessions will be held on Tuesday, Nov 16th, 23rd, 30th and Dec 7th from 2:30pm-3:30pm in the cafeteria. These informative workshops will give you the tools you need to make your application meaningful and really stand out. Each Tuesday will cover one question on the UBC application but it will be helpful for applying to any University. Special guest speaker is Ivan Penkov from the Institute of Higher Learning. Congratulations to the Junior Girls Volleyball Team! They defeated Argyle 3-0 in the quarter finals. They now move on to the semi-finals where they play STA. Come support the Junior girls TODAY at 4pm at Handsworth.

We are happy to be hosting in person sessions on University Applications with Ivan Penkov, lecturer at UBC and founder of the Vancouver Higher Institute of Learning. The first one is on Tuesday, Nov 9th @ 2:30pm-3:30pm in the cafeteria. This introductory session will contain information on applying to UBC but also to other Universities. If you want your application to stand out, don't miss this workshop!
