Student Council is organizing the Terry Fox Run this Friday at lunch. Joining in is easy. Bring a donation, meet in front of the main bleachers and run or walk the course. You can also make a donation and buy a raffle ticket in front of the cafeteria at lunch. Let’s pitch in to support cancer research. Get ready to walk or run on Friday.

Theatre Company will meet tomorrow, September 27th from 3-4:30 pm in the Drama Room for our next pre-production meeting.

Congratulations to the Junior Field Hockey team on their 6-0 win against Sentinel yesterday afternoon. Great job girls!

The Library will be closed at lunch today for an advisory rep meeting.

Attention Gr. 12’s: This Friday from 1-3 we will be hosting the Canadian University Event. 50 post secondary institutions from across Canada will be set up in the old gym. Come by and speak to representatives.

Today is the first Spanish Club meeting in W154.

ASL Club Meeting in W348 next to the library tomorrow at lunch. Anyone that didn’t sign up or didn’t come the last time is still welcome. Learn ASL and help with fundraisers.

The Aeronautics Club is meeting at lunch in C301 today.

A reminder that you must purchase a parking pass to park in the student lot. Cars without stickers will be towed!

If you would like to write the practice SAT exam, registrations are now being accepted in the Main Office with Mrs. Madill. The cost is $20 and the exam takes place on Wednesday, October 11th.

Are you new to WVSS? An international student or Gr. 8? Now is your chance to get West Van hoodies, t-shirts or sweats. Spirit Wear Order Forms can be found outside the front office and handed in to the office. Don’t miss out! Due to the Pro-D day tomorrow, the deadline to hand in forms is extended to this Friday. The school store will not be stocking spirit wear items.
