Oct 02 2017The Senior Girls Volleyball team played in the Seaquam Pink Ribbon Tourney this weekend understaffed. Thanks to Libby Meldrum, Kate Lytle and Jenny Ellis-Whyte the team survived Friday night and won the consolation finals on Saturday. Gabby Araujo and Macy Meldrum had the most kills of the weekend and Libby lead the team with assists. Come support the team this Thursday night for the first home league game at 7:30 pm. Romina Pour Mina and Gabby Araujo were outstanding team leaders through out the whole tournament!
The Senior Football team moved to 3 and 1 with a last second touchdown pass from Ben Corbett to Ethan Johnston. The exciting win propels the team in to league play this Friday at home with a 2:00 pm start. See you there!
Congrats to the Senior Field Hockey team for finishing 2nd at the UBC tournament this past weekend. The girls had such an amazing 2.5 days of field hockey. They won the pool and played extremely well in the final match. Next up, the prestigious Bridgman Cup next weekend. Good luck girls!

The Student Council would like to thank those brave runners who came out on Friday for the Terry Fox Run. Because of the rain the Council did not meet their fundraising goal to support Cancer Research but you can still help – donate today in front of the cafeteria at recess and lunch and get a prestigious Terry Fox tattoo!

If you would like to write the practice SAT exam, registrations are now being accepted in the Main Office with Mrs. Madill. The cost is $20 and the exam takes place on Wednesday, October 11th. There are only a few spots still available!
