Oct 05 2018The grade 8 Rugby team had their first game experience yesterday in an exhibition match versus Byrne Creek, Mr. Stephanon’s new school. They put out a great team effort and kept the score close until the second half when Byrne Creek pulled ahead. Despite the loss, there were many highlight performances including Faraz Fasihzadeh’s try-stopping tackle and Thea Scott’s numerous tackles and end-to-end try score. We look forward to continued great performances as league play starts next week with games against Collingwood and Argyle! Go Highlanders!
