The Lunchbox is our schools’s GSA (gender and sexuality alliance) and is a drop-in that happens in the dance studio every Friday at lunch. No labels, no judgement, no commitment. Come check it out today.
Improv club meets today after school. Anyone interested in trying it out is welcome to come and join us in the Drama Room today after school.
Attention grade 10 participants of Sports Club, there will be a meeting today down at the south campus gym during lunch period. We will be playing soccer today.
Wrestling is starting soon! Anyone interested come see Ms. McKee by next Wednesday either in C236 or in her office in E300.
Senior Girls Volleyball is meeting at lunch to sort out rides for the tournament.
The Senior Girls Field Hockey team played exceptionally well yesterday against Argyle in their semi-final banner game. It took all of regulation time, 10 mins of overtime and a shootout but in the end they we’re victorious!! Monday Oct 29th at 3pm on Rotledge field is the banner gold medal match against Handsworth. Congratulations girls!
The Senior girls Volleyball team played their last home game with passion, team spirit and excellent skill. The team battled with Sentinal in the first 3 games and then finished them off in the 4th game. Congratulations to the team for a Big Victory and successful outcome to earn a spot to the Lower Mainland Tournament. Big shout out to our grade 12’s: Ida Khodabandehlou and Abby Young for outstanding Libero, and Nicola Aspden for awesome kills from the outside!
Congratulations to the Senior Boys Soccer Team for a 5-0 win yesterday against Carson Graham. Goals were scored by Daniel Choi, Kyle Kim and a fabulous hate trick from tenth grader Chris Album, as well as some great saves by Nicholas Rouben! Well done Highlanders!
This is a reminder to all students driving their cars to school – YOU MUST HAVE AN UP TO DATE PARKING STICKER ON YOUR VEHICLE ! These can be purchased in the office. A weekly check will start next Monday. Those without stickers may be towed at the car owner’s expense.
