WVSS School Hoodies are finally back in the school store by the Library. Come and check them out!

There will be a Button Sale in front of the caf on Wednesday and Thursday for $2 each. All donations will go to publishing the WVSS writing journal. Bring some change and choose your favourite button designed by the club members.

The rehearsal schedule for the musical 10 Things I Hate About You has been updated for this week. Please check the calendar and google classroom.

All students attending Wednesday’s film event at the Kay Meek are reminded to bring their $3 to their teachers ASAP. On Wednesday, please head to the KMC after announcements at 10am.

Reminder to Ms. Baker’s PHE class to meet at the ice arena on Wednesday at 10:10 for ice skating.

The grade 8 boys basketball team competed in the Handsworth Tournament this past weekend and played some very good basketball. They lost two very close games to Byrne Creek and Windsor but then in their last game they beat Handsworth 54 to 49 in overtime. Sterling Wallace led the team in scoring with 13 points a game and Behrad Rakhshanfar hit the game tying basket to send the game into overtime. Radin Akbari also hit a buzzer beating three point shot at half time.
The team plays in the Capilano Tournament today, Tuesday and Wednesday.
