West Van High’s Halloween costume contest is back and there are prizes for the top 3 winners! Dress up in the scariest, funniest or craziest costume you can think of! All participants get free candy! The event will be held in the Old Gym this Friday at lunch. See you there!

Theatre Company students don’t forget your first readthrough of the play is TODAY during Xblock! This is the cast’s first mandatory meeting, so do everything you can to be present.

Doughnuts! Eat a Krispy Kreme doughnut to support a local North Shore organization. The Helping Hands Club is taking pre-orders now until the end of the week! Find the pre-order QR Code on one of the many posters around the school *or*
drop by the Cafeteria and scan the QR code on the big, bright poster at the entrance. These world famous doughnuts are only $2 each, 6 for $9 or a whole dozen (12) for $12 bucks! Who knew eating doughnuts could be so good?!!!

A UVIC rep will be here in person to talk about hands on learning opportunities like co-op, research and international programs. You’ll learn how the vibrant student community and academic environment can inspire you to succeed. They’ll
cover the next steps in applying and beginning your UVic journey. All attendees will also be entered in a draw for a UVic sweatshirt. Join us on Thursday, October 28 at 1:20 p.m. in the cafeteria.
