Congratulations to the Girls Rugby team for a convincing win over Moscrop 52-0. Well done girls and a great team effort.

Congrats also to the Senior Boys Rugby team on their win 25-17 over Lord Bing to qualify & compete for the New Zealand Shield which is awarded to the top metro Vancouver team. They are now off to the Provincials. Good Luck Highlanders.

The Lunchbox West Van Secondary’s GSA club, meets at lunch in the dance studio. Ever wanted to check it out but wanted to know more about it first? Talk to Mr. McLeod or Ms. Castro and they can tell you all about it!

Improv Club meets today after school. New People are always welcome. no experience needed. Talk to Ms. McLeod or Ms. Hoyak if you want more info.

A reminder to anyone interested in joining the school humanitarian trip to the Dominican in February 2020 to bring in their consent forms and deposit to the main office. Spots are filling up, so act fast. See Mr. McLeod or Ms. Pirbhai for more info.

Tickets are on sale for the Fashion Show! You can purchase them at the textiles room (C232) $5 for students and $10 for adults. The show is on May 16th at 7pm in the Kay Meek Studio Theatre.

Attention all grade 9-11 students interested in playing Football next year. We will meet in room E303 Tuesday May 14th @ lunch. This is a very important meeting!

You are invited to the WVSS writing journal launch party TODAY from 4-6 at the West Van Memorial Library. This is an open event so feel free to bring yoru friends and family. There will be refreshments & and open mic for WVSS students. Journals will also be sold for $10. Hope to see you all there.
