For those students who have signed up for the hockey team there will be a brief but important meeting today at lunch in room T105.

Congratulations to the Senior Boys who defeated Carson Graham 58-44 last night in the Howe Sound semi-final action. Your Highlanders overcame 2 early fouls to Big Kevin and played stellar defense to secure their place in the final tonight. That’s right your Highlanders will represent in the Howe Sound Quad A Final at Handsworth. Game time is 7:45 pm. Come on out and support your team!

Senior Boys Basketball meeting in the weight room at 1:00 today.

Grade 8 football players. There will be a mandatory meeting Friday at lunch in Mr.Keary’s room. We need final numbers for spring participation.

There will be a meeting for all Junior and Senior students interested in trying out for the WVSS Tennis Team next Tuesday, March 6th at lunch in Mr.Green’s room C302. Tryouts will occur the last week before spring break. If you have any questions please see Mr.Green.

Come out after school today to cheer on our girls rugby team as they take on Chatalech from the Sunshine coast.

Badminton tryouts for Grade 8 & 9’s are Wednesday after school in the new gym. See you there!

Reminder there are mini games for the Grade 8′s at lunch today in the south campus gym.

Grade 12’s who would like to find out more about the District Scholarship are invited to an information meeting in the career programs office at lunch time on Wednesday March 7.
