Basketball uniform collection – please hand in your basketball uniforms to Mr. Ros as soon as possible. Please be sure to wash your uniforms before handing them in. If you borrowed a uniform to show your school spirit at the Best of the West game please hand in your uniform to Mr.Ros or Ms.MckKee.

Congratulations to the following Basketball teams:

  • Grade 9 Boys – finished 2nd at the Vancouver & District Championship tournament to McMath
  • Junior Girls – won the Vancouver & District Championship over McNeil from Richmond on Friday
  • Senior Boys – defeated Sentinel on Friday afternoon

Attention all Rugby players:

  • Practices are still scheduled as usual this week.
  • Seniors will be on Ambleside turf E Tuesday & Thursday this week.

A reminder to students attending the field trip to Vancouver Film School on Tuesday. All of you are expected to meet at the front entrance of the school at 8:30 am tomorrow morning. The bus will leave shortly after. Expect to return to the school for 12:30 pm.

The Juvenile boys basketball lost to McMath in the Vancouver & District Championship on the weekend.The team played solid defense throughout the game and were led by the hot shooting of Dean Martin who made a number of 3 pointers to keep the game close. With their North Shore title and V &D placing the reams has qualified for the BC Provincial Championship in early March. Well done Highlanders! Will all team members please meet Mr. Thomson at the North campus main office at 12:50pm for a brief meeting.

Please be reminded that tryouts for badminton is this week after school from 3-4:30 pm. Tryouts for 11/12 is today in new gym. Grade 8/9 on Friday in the new gym. Grade 10 will be next Monday. See Mr. Chan if you can’t make it on your day.

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to to the chocolate facotry! There is going to be a school play of pure imagination from March 7-9 at the Kaymeek Theatre. If you’ve got a swet tooth, there will also be a chance to win a large chocolate basket, and an array of sweets on sale at the concession. Go buy your tickets in front of the cafeteria before its too late!
