The Junior Football team lost a close game yesterday 27-14 to WJ Mouat. Solid first performance considering the team is just coming together. Senior Football plays tonight at 7 pm at WJ Mouat Secondary.
Senior Girls Volleyball team played their first matches last night in Delta against two top ranked teams. Our Highlanders took 9 set off Tweedsmuir and were close with Seaquam. Shannon Bushe lead the team with 12 kills and Macy Meldrum added with 8! Kate Sykes’ play was outstanding in the setting position – all players are congratulated for their strong start to the season!
We are planning a school service trip to the Dominican Republic in February. If you are interested in gaining volunteer hours, helping a community in need and staying at a beach resort, come to the computer lab (C231) today for more information or see Miss Pirbhai or Mr. Johnson.
If you would like to write the practice SAT exam, registrations are now being accepted in the Main Office with Mrs. Madill. The cost is $20 and the exam takes place on Wednesday, October 11th.

A reminder to all students that there is NO FOOD OR DRINK allowed in any of the gyms or gym stands. The new gym is off limits at recess and lunch. And the weight room is off limits unless you have teacher permission and teacher supervision.
