Happy Spring Break to all our Chartwell families!

Term 2 is behind us and it’s a perfect opportunity at this time to celebrate the many accomplishments of the last few months! Term 2 started in early December and our students have been very busy since then! I always enjoy reading all the report cards and learning in detail about all the interesting projects that the students did. Inquiry learning is at the heart of every classroom, and art and writing projects decorate our hallways. The students integrate digital tools in their learning and continue to participate in physical activity, mindfulness and music. We loved the Bop Shop dance week! Grade 7 volleyball teams did great and finished 3rd in our district tournament! Our senior students are diving into the Capstone Connect project and the Leadership Club is overseeing our Walk for Water and other Rights Respecting Schools initiatives. We celebrated Christmas and New Year, the Lunar New Year, and Norooz.

We’ve had a number of new students and families join us over the last term. We welcome you to the Chartwell Community, a very special place to learn.

The Chartwell Team wishes you a restful Spring Break and hope that you will find time to rest and spend wonderful family time together. And let’s hope that the snow melts before the end of Spring Break!
