The IB DP offered at West Vancouver Secondary School is an internationally recognized program that encourages students to broaden their intellectual, social and cultural horizons in a rigorous learning environment.  The IB DP is widely recognized and graduates of the program attend university in Canada, the US, the UK, Europe and Asia.

Cost of the Program

The school board does not cover the full cost of the IB Diploma Programme. The amount each student pays depends on the number and type of IB courses selected. Fees cover the cost of membership of the International Baccalaureate organization which is based in Geneva, curriculum implementation locally and the cost of supplies. In each grade, a portion of the fee charged covers these costs as well as those described for that grade level.
