Student Absences:

If your Child will be late or absent please email the school at, or leave a voicemail message on the Call Back line at 604-981-1205 prior to the start of classes. We request that this is done even if you have notified your child’s teacher.

Late Arrivals:

If students are late arriving and miss entering the building with their cohort, they must wait at the main entrance of the school for a staff member to bring them in to their class.  If there are other students at the main entrance, they must practice physical distancing in their line up while waiting.

Students Leaving During School Hours:

If it is necessary for a student to leave during school hours a parent must contact their child’s teacher and our office in advance to arrange an appropriate time for dismissal.  Due to our schedule complexity, we encourage parents to avoid booking daytime appointments.

Caulfeild PAC:

Information about our Parent Advisory council can be found on our website. The CPAC organizes a great Hot Lunch Program, the sale of Bear Wear, and many other fun school events, look for coming announcements.

Caulfeild E-Bulletins:

E-bulletins containing important school information and community events are sent out every Thursday. Make sure you are on the list to receive these E-Bulletins. They can also be found under School News.

When dropping off or picking up your children, we ask that parents do not park along the side of the roundabout or use the parking stalls designated for staff. When picking up children after-school parents are expected to remain in their vehicles along the side of the roundabout in order to maintain the traffic flow.

We do not have parent washrooms available at this time as outlined in our COVID safety protocols.

Smoke Free Zone:

A reminder that the school grounds are a smoke free zone, we kindly ask that parents refrain from smoking anywhere on the grounds.
