Any amount of time goes a long way to helping the GPAC fundraise and create great opportunities for our school. Whether you can only do a few days a year, or you can help out more, please put your name below and we will contact you throughout the year to see if you are available.

Hot lunch is our biggest PAC fundraiser and gives kids the opportunity to enjoy a hot meal. We run hot lunch every Tuesday through Friday with food items including pasta, chicken strips, wraps, salads, sushi, noodles, pizza and Subway.

We have parent volunteers who run the logistics of hot lunch with the support of the rest of the PAC Executive Committee. It’s a rewarding but fairly involved role and the PAC is always grateful for anyone willing to take this on. If you are interested in helping, please contact gechotlunch@gmail.com.

The PAC manages a Scholastic Book Fair each year. The Book Fair is set-up in the school library. The chair of this event liaisons with Scholastics and organizes the volunteer effort, which includes set-up, promotions and staffing at the event days. This group of gardening enthusiasts, helps improve, beautify and maintain the school grounds. Children are also encouraged to work with the volunteers to build pride and joy in the gardens they get to enjoy everyday. Please contact gecpacchair@gmail.com if you are interested in joining this group.

Class parents are the liaisons between parents, teachers and GEC PAC. They help facilitate any requests teachers have for parent participation in the classroom and to communicate broader school activities. This volunteer will also arrange a class card/gift at Christmas and again in June. Our Class Parent coordinator is Aimee Fildes, please contact her for more info or if you would like to volunteer to help.

Library Assistants meet with the librarian to find ways to help with sorting and reshelving books and any other task to keep the library fresh and welcoming.  Please contact Ms. Yorke for more info.

Parents come out to cheer on our kids and the PAC provides a scrumptious healthy treat that puts a smile on the kids.
