We are a school of 370 students from K-7. Our student population encompasses students from the Caulfeild catchment, throughout West Vancouver, across the North Shore and beyond. We are very fortunate to have a culturally rich student population.
As we are a community of learners, our students are interconnected and learn from one another through our buddy classes and multi-age inquiry groups. We are very proud that our students all know, and look after, one another.
During the year our older students are involved in district athletics but students throughout the grades have opportunities to extend their learning through the after-school activities our parent community coordinates.
Students at Caulfeild iDEC have many opportunities to be involved in school, community and global leadership. Student leadership is primarily reserved for our Grade 7 Student Leaders. Examples of leadership opportunities are:
- H.O.P.E. Committee (Helping Other People Everywhere)
- Assembly Committee
- Primary Lunch Monitors
- Kindergarten Monitors
- Technology Leaders
- Yearbook Committee
- Office Monitors
- iDEC Ambassadors
