Nestled in the coastal forest, Lions Bay Community School is celebrating over 30 years of innovative education. The unique open area design invites multi-age groupings for instruction. Current student population is approximately 30 kindergarten through grade three students.  Lions Bay School has a dedicated staff including a Principal, Vice Principal, classroom teachers, a learning support teacher, and an English Language Learning (ELL) teacher.  In addition to the teaching staff, Lions Bay is supported by a teaching/office assistant, a custodian, and an education assistant.  A dynamic on site preschool works closely with the school community.

Our school is also supported by itinerant access to a range of services including counselling, challenge and speech/language pathology. Our parent community is highly supportive of school initiatives like Family Education Evenings, Home Reading, Scholastic Book Clubs and Fun Food.
