Our School
Lions Bay Community School
Nestled in the coastal forest, Lions Bay Community School is celebrating over 30 years of innovative education. The unique open area design invites multi-age groupings for instruction. Current student population is approximately 40 kindergarten through grade three students. Lions Bay School has a Head Teacher in charge, two classroom teachers, a music teacher, and a learning support teacher. In addition to the teaching staff, Lions Bay is supported by a dedicated staff consisting of a secretary, custodian, teaching assistant, and lunch supervision aid. A dynamic on site playschool works closely with the school community.
Our school is also supported by itinerant access to a range of services including counselling, challenge and speech/language pathology. Our parent community is highly supportive of school initiatives like Family Education Evenings, Home Reading, Scholastic Book Clubs and Fun Food.
