Secondary Course Offerings

Full Credit Courses (4 credits)

For students currently in grades 9-11.

Wednesday, July 2nd – Thursday, July 31st, 2025
8:30am – 12.29pm

Full Credit courses are fast-paced and rigorous and successful completion of these courses depends on the commitment of the student. West Vancouver School District recommends that students must:

  • be motivated to complete a course during the Summer months;
  • be committed to attending all classes.

A midterm report will be sent home with the students in the second week of classes and a final report card will be sent to the students’ home school where it can be picked up when school reopens in September. Students who wish to receive a copy in the mail prior to September may bring a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Summer Learning Office.

Grade 8 students are not permitted to request or register for Full Credit courses, and Grade 9 students will only be permitted to request Full Credit courses at the grade 10 level.
